Raico Roofing is a family-run roofing and exterior contractor that has served Calgary and surrounding communities since 2014. We replace and repair roofs, and install siding, eavestroughs, soffit, fascia, windows and doors, all built for Alberta's hail, Chinook winds and freeze-thaw winters. Every job starts with a free on-site inspection and an itemized written quote.
From a single storm repair to a full exterior renovation, the same in-house crew handles your project from the roof deck to the downspouts, so nothing falls between trades and you have one team accountable for the result.
Full tear-off, deck inspection, ice and water shield and balanced attic ventilation. Asphalt, Class 4 impact-rated, EuroShield rubber or standing seam metal.
Leaks, wind damage, missing shingles and flashing failures. We document hail and storm damage with photos for your insurance claim.
James Hardie fiber cement, insulated vinyl and steel siding, plus repairs to hail-cracked and wind-damaged panels.
Seamless 5" and 6" aluminum eavestroughs, roll-formed on site, with heavy hangers and properly sized downspouts.
Vented aluminum soffit and fascia capping that keep attics dry, help stop ice dams and end peeling paint for good.
Energy Star double- and triple-pane windows and insulated entry and patio doors that cut drafts and winter heating bills.
Flat roof repair, SBS membranes, steel cladding and scheduled maintenance for plazas, warehouses and multi-family buildings.
Calgary sits in one of the most hail-prone areas in Canada, and a single summer storm can bruise or crack shingles across a whole neighbourhood. We install Class 4 impact-rated shingles, EuroShield rubber roofing made in Alberta, and standing seam metal for homeowners who want to stop replacing their roof after every storm.
Chinook winds and freeze-thaw cycles cause the other half of Calgary roof failures: ice dams at the eaves and "attic rain" from poor ventilation. On every replacement we install ice and water shield past the warm wall line and balance attic ventilation, so the roof works as a system, not just a layer of shingles.

Our roof and siding were damaged during a hail storm and had to be completely replaced. We contacted several companies to get quotes and Radu was the first to respond and his quote was very reasonable. He and his crew were excellent to deal with throughout the whole process. Radu and his team were all very communicative and extremely pleasant to deal with. Their workmanship was top notch and Radu went above and beyond what we expected. He was completely open to making any changes we asked without question which we really appreciated. In the end we paid what was quoted with no additional charges. I would highly recommend Radu and Raico Roofing to anyone and would definitely use them again in the future!
I employed Raico Roofing to compete a full exterior upgrade on my 2100 Sq Ft property in Copperfield SE. This involved, hardie board upgrade, full roof, soffits, fascia and eavesdropping. The professional service and caliber work provided was exceptional. The service also provided a high caliber exterior painting upgrade on the window casing, garage door and all other required areas on the property to ensure an optimal colouring match. The end result was fantastic and added significant value to my property. I dealt with Radu directly throughout the entire project and there was a high level sense of trust which was very comforting for myself and my family. I highly recommend Raico Roofing and Exteriors.
Just had James Hardie siding, gutters and soffits replaced by Radu and his employees. We also had him install stone veneer on one wall. Wow, does our house look nice. They did a fantastic job and were very professional and personable at all times. They taped and sealed around the windows and doors and all seams on the house wrap. Though the added insulation wasn’t spec’s in the proposal, Radu supplied and installed the best material available. He also did a few jobs that I asked him to that weren’t in the original quote at no charge. I highly recommend using Raico for your next roofing or siding project!
Radu was recommended to me by our realtor and now we know why! We needed a new barn roof badly! He was the first to our property to quote it and also provided the fastest communication. He had our quote to us right away and was the most competitive! He was also patient while we obtained other quotes. The team was able to start a few weeks later and was very professional and kept us updated on the timeline as it progressed. When the weather is bad the team showed up on the weekend to make up for missed days and this was greatly appreciated! We had a very large project and are extremely impressed with the work and communication from Raico Roofing. We will recommend him to everyone.
I cant say enough great things about Raico Roofing. They had helped do my roof a few years ago, then the hailstorm hit and my house took a beating. The team came back and did a full assessment, worked with me with insurance and really stepped up when things got delayed due to product matching, delays and repairs. The team are kind, they work efficiently and really communicate through every step. Im so grateful for them and I am thrilled with the outcomes! They really helped ease a very stressful and not easy process. Thanks you so much! This team is who im calling if i ever need future work.
We were hit by a hailstorm in August 2024, and Raico was recommended to us by a friend who had a great experience with his services. After reaching out, Raico responded quickly and kept in touch throughout the process. As soon as the weather improved in spring 2025, his team got to work. Everyone on the crew was professional, respectful, and clearly skilled. They paid attention to even the smallest details, completed the job efficiently, and made sure everything was thoroughly cleaned up afterward. The entire experience was smooth and stress‑free. I’m very happy with the work they did and would confidently recommend Raico to anyone looking for quality roofing services.
I had a great experience with Raico Roofing and Exteriors. At the beginning, I was honestly quite confused and stressed — part of my siding had fallen down, and a woodpecker kept pecking at the house during the day, making things even worse. I was pretty desperate and decided to send out a message asking for help. Raico responded right away and came the very next day early in the morning to fix the problem. Their pricing was very reasonable, and they took the time to answer all my questions patiently, which really helped put me at ease. Professional, responsive, and reliable — I highly recommend them if you need roofing or exterior repairs!
I had a great experience with Raico Roofing. Radu and the team are professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work from beginning to the end. They did an excellent job from helping to chose right materials, colours to installing the siding and gutters and paid close attention to details. The work was completed efficiently, and they made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. The finished results look amazing and has completely improved the appearance of our home. I will hire Raico Roofing for a second property. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality siding work and reliable services.
We have a 3 building condo complex, and approx. 2 years ago asked Raico Roofing to check all balconies for minor repairs. During the inspection, they discovered extensive damage on some of the balconies, and provided photos. Raico has been working on all the balconies, to provide sloping away from the building, and install new, heat sealed vinyl flooring. Some units required significant work due to water damage under the deck flooring. The before and after photos were provided to owners, to help them understand the extent of damages. This was very helpful. The owner and staff with Raico have been extremely professional when dealing with the owners and the Board, and we appreciate the work they have done on our homes. Thank you to Radu and the Raico staff!
We recently had this contractor complete an eaves and downspout replacement project at a condominium we manage, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and quick response to every resident concern made the entire process smooth and efficient. Working with Radu in particular was extremely easy—he was responsive, clear, and always willing to address questions or concerns promptly. From a condominium manager’s perspective, that level of communication and care is truly appreciated. The work was completed on time, communication was consistent throughout, and the team ensured all residents felt heard and respected. Highly recommended.
I am a happy customer of Raico Roofing. OUr house got battered by the last major Hail in NW Calgary and I had problems with the high cost of the prefer vendor of my insurance. Radu the owner was recommended to me and he was such a good person to talk to. He gave me a reasonable price and politely guaranteed a good quality of work. Now, they are almost done and have done a great job and even considers my extra request of paint jobs in my house. I am so happy I met Radu and his team. I highly recommend this company for it's reasonable price and great quality of work. Radu's workers are also very polite and hard working. More power to Raico Roofing. I hope to recommend customers in the future.
After looking through reviews and getting several quotations, I selected Raico Roofing Ltd to look at my roof. Radu , the owner, was the only one who actually climbed the roof and did the inspection before accepting the job. He discussed with me all imperfections found and provided the ways to deal with them. I was kept in the loop every step of the way. Installation went well, the crew was attentive and courteous, to my wife and I. Most importantly the surroundings was clean from all debris. Appreciate the job that was done at my house.
Raico Roofing was highly recommended by our realtor and did not disappoint. They did a superb job on our roof replacement (including eaves-through, gutter, etc) caused by the recent hail of Y2024 in Calgary-NW. They were on time, did a really good job and reasonably priced! I highly recommend this company (Radu & team) and I have so far been recommending them to my friends which I'm sure will be happy as I am. He even guaranteed "warranty on the house" so if I sell then the next owner inherits it. More Power - Radu and Team!!!
Radu and his team came to our house to replace the vinyl siding and roof that were damaged in the hail storm earlier in the year. He was very helpful through the selection process of replacement material. We chose to get hardie board installed and it looks great! The roof and gutters were also replaced and everything blends very nicely. He is picky about his own work and will go the distance to ensure the client is happy with the final product. I will gladly refer these guys to anyone!
We got our roof repair done today by Raico Roofing, and it was a great experience! We contacted them through email, and they work with us to understand our situation, set us up with a roof inspection, and schedule the repair! The repairmen, Tony and his partner, got the repair neatly done and cleaned up all in only an hour, and they were friendly and professional! Overall, I had a great experience with Raico Roofing and would do business with them again! Highly recommended!
